Baseball America took their turn unveiling their Top 100 prospect rankings on MLB Network on Friday night, with six Brewers landing on their list of the best prospects in baseball.

Infielder Isan Diaz came in at #93, followed by pitchers Brandon Woodruff at #82 and Luis Ortiz at #79. Outfielder Corey Ray ranked #42 with lefty Josh Hader coming in at #33 an outfielder Lewi Brinson grabbing the highest spot for a Brewers farmhand at #27.

The studio crew for the hour long special, consisting of Greg Amsinger, Harold Reynolds, John Manuel and JJ Cooper, took time to go in depth on Ray, offering comparisons to former big league outfielders Oddibe McDowell and Ray Lankford.

“The big thing for him is just adjusting to his game” said Reynolds, “figuring out what he’s going to do. I like a lot of left-handed guys struggle a little bit early, but I think this kid’s got the combination of speed and power.”
