MILWAUKEE BREWERS 5, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 6

The Brewers dropped to 2-5 in Cactus League play while the Angels improved to 7-0 with a walkoff 6-5 win over Milwaukee in Tempe on Friday afternoon. The Brewers jumped on the board right away when right fielder Domingo Santana launched a two-run home run in the top of the first inning. Santana launched his second home run of the game in the third inning, increasing Milwaukee’s lead to 3-0, but the Angels responded with a run in the bottom of the third, then added two in the fourth and one in the sixth to take a 4-3 lead. The Brewers rallied for two runs in the top of the seventh to re-take the lead but the Angels tied it right back up in the bottom half of the inning, then walked away with a win in the bottom of the ninth. Junior Guerra started and went two innings without allowing a run. Tyler Spurlin surrendered the ninth inning run and was charged with the loss.
