SPRING TRAINING GAME RECAP: 3/5/17

Colorado Rockies 4, MILWAUKEE BREWERS 9

The Brewers scored in each of their final four innings at the plate, pulling away from the Rockies for a 9-4 win in Cactus League play on Sunday afternoon. Hernan Perez kicked off the scoring in the bottom of the second when Hernan Perez belted a home run to left field. The Rockies tied things up with a Trevor Story home run off of Chase Anderson in the fourth but the Brewers took the lead back in the bottom of the fifth on a sac fly from Ryan Cordell. Milwaukee plated two in the sixth, then got back-to-back home runs from Jesus Aguilar and Nick Noonan in the seventh before adding two runs in the ninth on doubles by Aguilar and Dustin Houle. Tommy Milone started for the Brewers and worked two scoreless innings while Jhan Marinez tossed a scoreless inning of relief and was credited with the win.
