SPRING TRAINING GAME RECAP: 3/12/17

MILWAUKEE BREWERS 2, Cincinnati Reds 4

The Brewers saw their Cactus League record drop to 9-8 as they were doubled up by the Cincinnati Reds in Goodyear on Sunday afternoon. Jimmy Nelson got the start and worked three scoreless frames, but the Reds managed to plate a run off of Joba Chamberlain in the fourth, then added three more against Neftali Feliz in the fifth. The Brewers finally managed a run in the seventh with Lewis Brinson doubled home Ryan Cordell, and they tacked on one more in the ninth with a solo home run from Isan Diaz. That would be as close as Milwaukee would get however, as they fell by a score of 4-2.
