SPRING TRAINING GAME RECAP: 3/15/17

MILWAUKEE BREWERS 4, Colorado Rockies 5

Colorado scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk off with a 5-4 win over the Brewers on Wednesday afternoon, dropping Milwaukee’s Cactus League record to 10-9. The Rockies got on the board first with a run in the fourth inning but the Brewers answered with three runs in the top of the fifth. Colorado tied things up with a run in their half of the fifth and another in the sixth before Milwaukee took the lead back with a run in the top of the eighth. Jacob Barnes came on in the bottom of the ninth to close things out for the Brewers, but Christhian Adames got to him for a two-run homer sending the Rockies home with the victory. Yadiel Rivera finished the day 2-for-3 with a double and a stolen base while Lewis Brinson and Scooter Gennett each chipped in a double as well.
