SPRING TRAINING GAME RECAP: 3/24/17

MILWAUKEE BREWERS 11, Cincinnati Reds 12

The Brewers dropped their third straight Cactus League game on Friday as they lost a slugfest to the Reds in Goodyear by a score of 12-11. Tommy Milone’s first pitch of the game was hit out of the park for a home run and the Reds would hang four runs on the lefty in the first inning, but the Brewers answered back with a five spot in the top of the second to take the lead. Cincinnati pulled back in front before Manny Pina belted a two-run home run to even the score at 7-7 in the fifth. The back-and-forth continued until Milwaukee plated three runs in the top of the ninth but the Reds scored two of their own in the bottom of the inning to walk off with a victory.
