BREWERS PROSPECTS TOP ANGELS 3-0.

MILWAUKEE BREWERS 3, Los Angeles Angels 0

The Brewers sent some of their top minor league prospects to Tempe on Monday night to take on the Angels in a minor league spring training contest with Aaron Wilkerson, Tayler Scott and Marcos Diplan combining for a shutout victory. Wilkerson got the start and worked 4.2 innings, striking out seven and allowing just two hits while Diplan tossed the final four scoreless frames to earn the save. Milwaukee got on the board right away in the first inning when Mauricio Dubon tripled and Lewis Brinson belted a two-run home run two batters later. They added an insurance run in the ninth as Ryan Cordell doubled, then took third on a wild pitch and scored on a Nate Orf fielder’s choice, providing the final margin of victory.
