WHAT TO WATCH FOR

– The Sky Sox will look to finish off a series sweep of Omaha when they send Hiram Burgos to the mound on Sunday afternoon. Colorado Springs took the first three games of the series and will look to improve to 4-0 before an off day on Monday.

– At Double-A Biloxi, the Shuckers will also be looking to improve to 4-0 on the young season. Currently in the midst of a five game series, the Shuckers came out victorious on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and will give the ball to Luis Ortiz on Sunday in hopes of making it four in a row.

– Wisconsin’s own Cameron Roegner will get the starting nod for the Timber Rattlers on Sunday afternoon, marking his 2017 debut. The Beloit, Wisconsin native was drafted last season out of Bradley University and split time between Maryvale and Helena. He’ll be working as part of a tandem that should see Braden Webb coming on in relief.

SATURDAY’S PLAYER OF THE DAY

Dustin DeMuth (Biloxi Shuckers)
There wasn’t a whole lot of offense in Biloxi’s 2-1 victory on Saturday, but Dustin DeMuth managed to come through when it counted. He blasted his first home run of the season in the fifth inning, then came through with a clutch ninth inning double to drive in Michael Reed with the eventual winning run. DeMuth finished the game 2-for-4, raising his average to .333 on the young season.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday to right-handed pitcher Daniel Missaki, who turns 22 on Sunday. He was acquired by Milwaukee in December of 2015 in a trade that sent Adam Lind to the Seattle Mariners but has yet to make his Brewers debut after undergoing Tommy John surgery.
