Cincinnati Reds 7, MILWAUKEE BREWERS  11
Eric Thames belted his ninth and tenth home runs to help the Brewers defeat the Reds 11-7.  Matt Garza made his first start of the year, but lasted just four innings, allowing four runs. Carlos Torres worked one scoreless inning of relief and picked up the win. Hernan Perez also homered and drove in four runs for Milwaukee while Manny Pina added a pair of hits in four trips to the plate.

Nashville Sounds 3, COLORADO SPRINGS SKY SOX  8
Colorado Springs improved their record to 12-5 with an 8-3 victory over Nashville.  Brandon Woodruff got the start and earned the win, tossing six shutout innings, allowing just three hits and striking out five.  Brett Phillips hit his fifth home run of the year while also adding a single and a walk.  Lewis Brinson went 2-for-3 with a walk and Ivan De Jesus, Jr. added a single and a double in four trips to the plate.

Jackson Generals 11, BILOXI SHUCKERS 0
The Shuckers were shutout by Jackson on Monday night as they were crushed by a score of 11-0.  Taylor Williams started and took the loss after allowing a pair of unearned runs in 1.2 innings of work. Jon Perrin followed and got rocked for seven runs over 5.1 innings.   Biloxi’s offense managed just three hits, getting singles from Victor Roache, Michael Reed and Clint Coulter.

CAROLINA MUDCATS  – Off Day
The Mudcats are off on Monday before opening up a series against the Down East Wood Ducks on Tuesday.

Kane County Cougars 5, WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS 1
The Timber Rattlers dropped the first game of their series with Kane County by a score of 5-1.  Trey Supak got the start and went six innings, allowing just two runs, but was charged with the loss. Ronnie Gideon reached base three times, going 2-for-3 with a walk while Monte Harrison and Tucker Neuhaus each finished with a double.
