MONDAY’S RESULTS

MILWAUKEE BREWERS – IDLE
The Brewers had the day off on Monday before returning home to Miller Park to begin a six game homestand as the Boston Red Sox and New York Mets come to town.

Fresno Grizzlies 5, COLORADO SPRINGS SKY SOX 12
The Sky Sox continued to roll as they beat Fresno 12-5 to improve their record to 19-8 on the season.  Josh Hader started and went five innings, allowing three runs while striking out eight. Tyler Cravy coughed up the lead but was credited with the win as Stephen Kohlscheen earned the save.  Brett Phillips finished the game 3-for-5 with four runs batted in while Eric Sogard, Ryan Cordell and Nate Orf each added two hits.

BILOXI SHUCKERS 7, Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp 5
Biloxi moved back to within a game of .500 with a 7-5 win over Jacksonville.  Angel Ventura started and got the win, going six innings and allowing just one unearned run. Matt Ramsey worked the ninth and recorded his eighth save of the year despite allowing a run. Mauricio Dubon finished 3-for-5 with a double while Johnny Davis, Michael Reed, Blake Allemand and Angel Ortega added two hits each and Clint Coulter added a pinch-hit home run (2).

CAROLINA MUDCATS – IDLE
The Mudcats were off on Monday following their walk-off victory Sunday.  They hit the road to begin a series against Lynchburg starting on Tuesday.

WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS 2, Fort Wayne TinCaps 0
Braden Webb and Cameron Roegner combined to shutout Fort Wayne as the Rattlers picked up a 2-0 victory on Monday night. Webb started and went 5.2 innings, striking out seven.  Roegner worked the final three and a third and was credited with the win. Monte Harrison led the offense, going 2-for-4 with a double while Jose Cuas added a triple.
