MILWAUKEE BREWERS – Idle
The Brewers were off on Monday after they wrapped up a west coast road trip on Sunday. They return home to Milwaukee on Tuesday night to begin a two game series with the St. Louis Cardinals.
COLORADO SPRINGS SKY SOX, Round Rock Express (Cancelled, Rain)
The Sky Sox had their game rained out for the second straight day as the opener of their series with Round Rock was washed out.
Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp 1, BILOXI SHUCKERS 7
The Shuckers scored three runs in the second and four in the sixth as they topped Jacksonville by a score of 7-1. Freddy Peralta got the start and earned the win, going six scoreless innings. Jorge Lopez worked the final three innings and picked up the save. Troy Stokes went 3-for-4 with a double and Jacob Nottingham added his ninth home run of the season.
CAROLINA MUDCATS – Idle
The Mudcats had the day off on Monday. They return to action on Tuesday evening when they open up a series at home against the Winston-Salem Dash
WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS 6, Clinton LumberKings 1
Four Wisconsin pitchers combined to allow just one run as they knocked off Clinton 6-1. Thomas Jankins started and went five scoreless innings to earn the win. Colton Cross worked the final two innings and earned the save. Dallas Carroll hit his third home run as a Timber Rattler and Ronnie Gideon was on base three times, going 2-for-3 with a double and a walk.
HELENA BREWERS 1, Billings Mustangs 6
Helena managed just one run as they fell to Billings by a score of 6-1. Alec Bettinger started and took the loss after giving up five runs, three earned, over five innings of work. Robbie Hitt worked three innings and allowed just one unearned run. Jose Gomez doubled while Payton Henry, Chad McClanahan, Nic Pierre and Antonio Pinero each added a single.
AZL BREWERS 3, AZL Reds 1
The Brewers scored two in the second and then tacked on an insurance run in the ninth as they defeated the Reds, 3-1. Phil Bickford made the start for the Brewers and went 4.1 innings, allowing one run. Justin Bullock was credited with the win and Cam Robinson recorded the save. Nick Egnatuk finished the game 2-for-4 with a double and Pablo Abreu added a double and two RBI.
