Profile: Signed by the Brewers out of the Dominican Republic in March of 2017, Brito debuted with Milwaukee’s affiliate in the Dominican Summer League when their season got underway in 2017.  With decent size and plus bat speed that generates some pop in his bat, Brito could turn into a power threat as he matures and can drive the ball to all fields.  A below average defender at third base presently, Brito will need to make improvements with the glove or risk being a first base only player.

2017:  The Brewers signed Brito during Spring Training and had him work at their facility in the Dominican until the DSL season got underway.  He was assigned to Milwaukee’s co-op team which they shared with Cleveland and in 43 games there, he hit .214/.262/.331 while playing both corner infield spots.  One-third of his hits on the season went for extra bases, including three home runs and he drove in 13 while scoring 20.
