Profile:  Drafted by the Brewers out of high school in the 17th round in 2017, Castillo turned down an offer from the University of Oklahoma and signed with Milwaukee, heading to Arizona to make his professional debut with Maryvale in the Arizona League.  A well put together athlete with the bat speed and raw strength to hit for plus power, Castillo is extremely raw but has all the tools and is the type of boom-or-bust prospect the Brewers are becoming famous for selecting.  He can fly in the outfield, and if he can make enough contact and be selective enough to get on base, Castillo can be a real threat on the basepaths.

2017:  The Brewers were careful not to throw too much at Castillo in his first season, as he saw action in just 12 games for the AZL Brewers after signing his deal with Milwaukee. He collected just eight hits in 45 at-bats and saw time in both corner outfield spots.
