Profile:  Drafted by the Brewers in the 36th round of the 2017 Draft, Corey began his college career at Fresno State, then transferred to Chabot College in Hayward, California before moving to UC Santa Barbara for his junior season.  He signed with Milwaukee following the draft then split time between the AZL and Helena in his first pro season.  A versatile athlete who has played all over the infield and has spent time in left field as well, Corey is a sparkplug at the top of the lineup.  An instinctive player, he has good fundamentals and while he lacks home run power, Corey has shown an ability to drive the ball to the opposite field, making him a threat at the plate.

2017:  The Brewers  agreed to terms with Corey and assigned him to Maryvale to begin his career in the AZL.  He hit .371 in 29 games there, earning a promotion to Helena in early August.  He posted a .286 average in 23 games there, before returning to the Maryvale for the AZL playoffs.
