Profile: Selected by the Brewers in the 28th round of the 2017 draft following his junior season at Oklahoma City University, Delgado was skipped past Maryvale and sent to Helena to make his pro debut in 2017.   An imposing presence on the mound at six-foot-five and 240 pounds, Delgado is a workhorse who put up decent strikeout numbers as a collegiate, recording 97 strikeouts in 80 innings of work.  Despite the downward plane he generates, Delgado can get into trouble at times when his fastball straightens out, and more advanced hitters in the Pioneer League were able to square him up quite a bit in his first taste of minor league ball.

2017:  The Brewers got aggressive with Delgado and sent him to Helena to make his pro start, and predictably, he had a tough time against more advanced hitters.  In 14 appearances, all in relief, Delgado went 1-2 with a 7.27 earned run average, striking out just 16 over 26 innings of work while posting a WHIP of 1.77.
