Profile: Drafted by the Brewers in the 36th round of the 2015 draft, Desguin began his college career at Florida State before transferring to Feather River Junior College in California, where he was named the Golden Valley Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2014. He moved to Florida Gulf Coast University in 2015, where he worked as both a starter and reliever, then went to Maryvale in the AZL following his signing with the Brewers. He opened 2016 in extended spring training, then joined Helena when their season began before earning a promotion to Class-A Wisconsin. With a fastball/slider combo, Desguin relies heavily on his heater which sits in the 93-95 mph range and he may eventually be ticketed for a bullpen role.

2015: After signing with the Brewers, Desguin was sent to Maryvale in the rookie Arizona League, where he made his professional debut. He saw action in eight games, starting four, and went 2-3 with a 2.86 earned run average, striking out 28 in 28.1 innings of work.

2016: Desguin opened the 2016 season in extended spring training, then moved to Helena when they started play in June. He appeared in eight Pioneer League contests, making four starts an went 2-0 with a 3.60 ERA before getting a bump to Low-A Wisconsin. He finished out the season with the Timber Rattlers, going 1-1 with a 3.23 ERA in six outings.

2017: The Brewers had Desguin return to Wisconsin to start the 2017 season and he wound up spending the entire year there, starting ten of the 30 games that he worked in.  He went 5-5 with a 5.13 earned run average, striking out 69 while walking just 23 in 87.2 innings of work.
