Profile: Milwaukee used their competitive balance pick at the end of round two (#75 overall) last year to select Feliciano out of the Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy in Puerto Rico. He signed for a reported $800,000 and got his first taste of pro ball with Maryvale in the AZL. With a solid, athletic frame behind the plate, Feliciano is a defense-first catcher who has a nice feel for receiving and working with pitchers while also showing a plus arm behind the dish. Feliciano brings some offensive upside as well, hitting for a decent average in limited action in 2016, and he should grow into some above average power as he develops. He also moves well for a catcher and has all the skills to become an everyday catcher if it all clicks for him.

2016: After inking his deal with the Brewers, Feliciano reported to Maryvale to join Milwaukee’s Arizona League team. He started 19 of the 29 games he appeared in behind the plate, batting .265 with five doubles, three triples and 16 runs batted in.

2017: The Brewers gave Feliciano an aggressive assignment to start 2017, sending him to Class-A Wisconsin at the age of 18.  He responded well, hitting .251/.320/.331 with 16 doubles, two triples and four home runs and was selected to the Midwest League All-Star team.
