Profile: Chosen by the Brewers in the tenth round in 2016 following his senior season at Rice, Fox signed with Milwaukee for a modest $10,000 bonus and made his way to Helena to begin his professional career in the Pioneer League.  A starter for the majority of his four years at Rice, Fox worked out of the bullpen at Helena but made just six appearances after logging over 100 innings during his senior season of college ball.  Poised to make the jump to A-ball in 2017, Fox instead wound up undergoing shoulder surgery in June, knocking him out for all of the 2017 season.  Not over-powering, with a fastball that only sits in the 80’s, Fox is a smart pitcher who throws strikes and knows how to set up hitters, getting the most out of his abilities.

2016:  After signing with Milwaukee following the Draft, Fox was assigned to Helena, where he made his pro debut.  He worked in six games there, logging just seven innings of relief, and went 0-1 with a 2.57 earned run average while striking out nine and holding opposing hitters to a .192 average.

2017:  Fox opened up 2017 in extended spring training but after dealing with shoulder pain that bothered him for more than a year, he opted to have surgery and in June he underwent a procedure that knocked him out for the remainder of the year.
