Profile:  Signed by the Brewers out of the Dominican Republic as a 17-year-old in 2016, Franco played for Milwaukee’s affiliate in the Dominican Summer League that same year, then returned to the DSL in 2017, playing for the co-op team that the Brewers shared with the Cleveland Indians.  With good size already and more room to grow, the left-handed hitting Franco made a big jump from year one to year two, improving statistically in nearly every category.  A contact hitter who should develop some home run power as he progresses, Franco is a corner outfielder with the arm to handle right field.

2016:  Milwaukee agreed to terms on a contract with Franco in January and assigned him to the Dominican Summer League that same season to launch his career.  In 33 games with the DSL Brewers, he struggled to a .192 average, collecting six doubles and a triple while scoring ten runs.

2017:  The Brewers  opted to have Franco return to the DSL for more seasoning in 2017 and assigned him to their co-op team.  He saw action in 40 games there, playing predominately right field, and wound up hitting .274 with ten doubles and two triples while driving in 18 runs.
