DOB: June 12, 1995

Height: 5’10” / Weight: 200

Bats: Right / Throws: Right

40-man roster: No

How acquired: Free Agent (June 22, 2017)

Profile:  Signed by Milwaukee as a free agent after going undrafted out of UC-Irvine, Guenette played in 55 games during his senior season and led the Big West by gunning down 22 potential base stealers.  He split time between Maryvale and Helena after signing with the Brewers, working almost exclusively behind the plate, with one appearance at first base.  A good defender who blocks and receivs well, Guenette has a better than average arm and a quick release that helps to keep the running game in check.

2017:  After finishing up his career at Irvine, Guenette was assigned to Milwaukee’s affiliate in the Arizona League to begin his pro career.  He saw action in six games there, hitting .250 before quickly earning a promotion to Helena.  He finished out the year there, but struggled with the bat, hitting just .189 in 12 games.
