Profile:  Signed by the Brewers after going undrafted following his senior season at Nova Southeastern (the same school that produced former Brewer Mike Fiers), Hardy was assigned to Milwaukee’s affiliate in the Arizona League to begin his pro career in 2017.  After three scoreless relief outings there, he earned a promotion to Helena and finished the season there, making 15 more appearances in the Pioneer League.  A slender right-hander, Hardy pitches to contact which can lead to a lot of baserunners at times, but also allows him to go multiple innings and work out of jams with the double play ball.  He put up solid strikeout numbers in his pro debut and also showed good composure on the mound, working in the late innings of ballgames.

2017:  After signing with the Brewers, Hardy made his way to Maryvale, where he pitched in three games for the AZL Brewers.  He recorded a save and allowed just one unearned run over seven innings before quickly getting bumped up to Helena.  He saw action in 15 more games there and struggled at times as opposing hitters put up a .314 average against him.  He finished his stint in Helena with a record of 1-0 to go along with a 7.53 ERA and one save.
