Profile:  A member of Milwaukee’s July 2nd signing class in 2016, Molina was signed by the Brewers out of Venezuela for a bonus reported to be worth $200,000.  He made he pro debut in 2017, appearing in 39 games for the Dominican Summer League Brewers but struggled offensively in limited action.  A bit on the smaller side at just five-foot-nine, Molina is a good blocker with an average arm whose defense is ahead of his offense at present.  A contact hitter who doesn’t strike out excessively, Molina doesn’t generate a lot of power with his swing, but the hope is that he will hit enough and play plus defense behind the plate.

2017:  After signing with Milwaukee the previous season, Molina made his professional debut in 2017, as the Brewers assigned him to their affiliate in the Dominican Summer League.  In 39 games there he hit .186 with four doubles.  He also swiped a pair of bases and scored 14 runs while throwing out 30% of opposing base stealers.
