Profile: Signed by the Brewers as an international free agent in March of 2015, Rodriguez made his professional debut later that summer, making 12 starts for Milwaukee’s affiliate in the Dominican Summer League.  The Brewers brought him stateside the following season and sent him to Helena, where he led the team in ERA, wins and innings pitched en route to being named a Pioneer League postseason All-Star.  Rodriguez made another big jump in 2017, moving up to High-A Carolina, jumping over Wisconsin.  He went on to see time at three different levels, also pitching briefly at Double-A Biloxi and Triple-A Colorado Springs.  Working mostly in a relief role in 2017, Rodriguez saw an increase in his strikeout numbers and may have found a home in the bullpen.

2015:  After signing with the Brewers during spring training, Rodriguez made his pro debut later in the summer, pitching for the DSL Brewers.  He went on to make 12 starts, going 3-2 with a 3.26 earned run average while posting a WHIP of 1.24 in 60.2 innings of work.

2016:  The Brewers brought Rodriguez to the U.S. in 2016 and had him skip past the Arizona League, sending him to Helena in the Pioneer League instead.  He saw action in 17 games there, starting seven of them and went 5-4 with a 4.48 ERA while also recording one save.

2017:  Milwaukee gave Rodriguez another aggressive promotion in 2017, having him skip past Low-A ball to start the season at High-A Carolina.  He thrived in a relief role there, appearing in 27 games, and went 0-1 with a 1.63 ERA and a pair of saves.  He held opposing hitters to an average of just .171 and recorded 65 strikeouts in 60.2 innings.  He also earned a brief promotion to Double-A Biloxi and made one September start for Triple-A Colorado Springs.
