Profile: Selected by the Brewers in the 22nd round in 2016, Roegner is a Wisconsin native who played his high school ball at Beloit Memorial.  He attended college at Bradley, where he underwent Tommy John surgery during his freshman season.  He came back after surgery and worked as both a starter and a reliever during his college days, before being drafted by Milwaukee.  Upon signing with the Brewers, Roegner split his first season between Maryvale and Helena, then moved up to Wisconsin in 2017.  An imposing figure on the mound at six-foot-six, Roegner has a fastball that sits in the 91-92 mph range, but he hides it well, making it look harder to opposing hitters.  He also has shown a feel for a changeup which has the potential to be a plus pitch for him and put up solid strikeout numbers with the Timber Rattlers in 2017.

2016:  Assigned to the AZL  after agreeing to terms with the Brewers, Roegner made four relief appearances in Maryvale, allowing just one run over nine innings before earning a promotion to Helena.  He finished his first season of pro ball there, going 2-3 with a 3.66 ERA in ten outings, four of which came as a starter.

2017:  Roegner made the jump to full season ball in 2017, beginning the year at Class-A Wisconsin.  Working as part of a tandem with the Timber Rattlers, Roegner appeared in 19 games, starting ten of them, and went 5-2 with a 3.56 earned run average, striking out 72 batters in 78.1 innings of work.
