Profile:  Signed by the Brewers out of the Dominican Republic in 2016, Sanchez debuted in the Dominican Summer League that same season before quickly making his way stateside.  He impressed in both the DSL and the AZL, earning a promotion to Class-A Wisconsin in his first year in the organization, then returned to Wisconsin for the 2017 season.  A right-handed reliever with a fastball in the low-90’s, Sanchez has averaged more than a strikeout per inning through his first two seasons and shows good mound composure.

2016:  After signing with the Brewers in January, Sanchez debuted in the Dominican Summer League, making two appearances there before joining the AZL Brewers in Maryale.  He made ten relief appearances there, going 1-1 with a 3.44 ERA, then was bumped up to Wisconsin, where he finished out the year, going 1-1 with a 2.51 ERA in six relief outings.

2017:  The Brewers chose to have Sanchez return to Wisconsin in 2017, where he became a fixture in the Timber Rattlers’ bullpen.  In 32 Midwest League appearances, Sanchez went 3-6 with a 4.36 earned run average while converting on two of four save opportunities.
